Travel west of Reno on I-80, approx 15 miles to Verdi.
In the middle of downtown Verdi, trun north (right) on
CR-147. Follow map thru Dog VAlley for approx 44 miles.
Approx 1 mile past Crystal Peak Camp Ground, turn left
(up hill) to top of road.
